I'M BACK FROM THE DEAD -- UNI APPLICATIONS HAVE BEEN SUCKING ALL THE FUN OUT OF MY LIFE, BUT THEY'RE (FINALLY) ALL DONE AND DUSTED SO I CAN GET BACK TO SPRUCING THIS SPACE UP. I KNOW I ALWAYS EMPHASIZE HOW LOW MAINTENANCE MY APPROACH TO BLOGGING IS, BUT I WANT TO TRY POSTING MORE OFTEN, SAY ONCE A WEEK. LET'S SEE HOW LONG I CAN KEEP THIS STREAK UP. THIS OUTFIT IS INSPIRED BY LAID-BACK, VINTAGE COOL. I'VE BEEN IN LOVE WITH SOME PIECES THAT I FOUND LOOKING THROUGH MY MOM'S BASEMENT BINS, ESPECIALLY THE MAX MARA SHIRT SEEN BELOW.

IN CASE YOU'RE LOOKING FOR SOME FINDS OF YOUR OWN, I'D RECOMMEND RAIDING YOUR LOCAL THRIFT SHOP (THE BEST UKAY-UKAYS IMO ARE IN MAKATI CINEMA SQUARE) OR PARENT'S CLOSET, LIKE I DID. IF YOU WISH TO GO THE ONLINE ROUTE; NASTY GAL JUST RELEASED THEIR NEWEST VINTAGE GOLDMINE (WARNING: $$$) AND HAVE AN AFTER PARTY LINE MADE OUT OF VINTAGE FABRICS. FOR BARGAINS, CHECK ETSY.

Shooting this little lookbook has left me lusting for freedom and positive vibes - things that are pretty hard to imagine when you're slugging through work during exam season. I'm taking a break to time travel for a bit - this is my (pastel-infused, in Tiny Muse tradition) take on the trending 70s era.

I have so many ideas for this space that I'm not sure where to start, which is why everything's been a bit messy lately. I'm working on new projects/posts/collaborations and I can't wait to share them with you all, but for now here is a summary of what I've been up to and the things I'm into this month.

  

Sipping peach jelly, wearing an American Apparel top and Carisse shorts

I stopped by the STATUS x Security Bank Yardsale last week to support Carisse's booth. Pictured below are the Beetroot bra and Carisse goodies I picked up, along with a drawing and my favorite Lush lip balm in 'Honey Trap'. I love Carisse's Moana set; it's one of those throw-on-and-go pieces that instantly give you that effortlessly cool aura.

I also bought this jacket at Uniqlo the other week for my impending trip to Europe (I don't care at all that I kind of resemble a human blanket).

Lastly, these are some portraits that I'm working on for school coursework of my sister. I did a watercolor painting based on a photograph I distorted on Photoshop, then scanned it back onto my computer and layered different gradients combinations over it.

I hope you're all as excited as I am for all the new things coming :--)
